Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to SLS Administrative Consultant (SLSAC), so I’ve developed a Privacy Policy that covers how I collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your information.
Information I collect
I collect certain information or data about you when you use my websites: www.slsac.ie, www.slsadministrative.consulting and www.slsadministrativeconsultant.ie (.com & .co.uk).
Information I collect:
- questions, queries, comments or feedback you leave, including your email address, if you contact SLS Administrative Consultant
- I embed Facebook Comments plugin to allow you to leave comment on my blog using your Facebook account. This plugin may collect your IP address, your web browser User Agent, store and retrieve cookies on your browser, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with the commenting interface, including correlating your Facebook account with whatever action you take within the interface (such as “liking” someone’s comment, replying to other comments), if you are logged into Facebook. - your email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to my email newsletters, and
- how you use my emails – for example whether you open them and which links you click on, your IP address, and
- details of which version of web browser you used as well as information on how you use the site, by using cookies and page tagging techniques.
This data can be viewed by authorised people in SLS Administrative Consultant and my suppliers, to:
- improve the site by monitoring how you use it
- gather feedback to improve my services, for example my email marketing
- respond to any feedback you send me.
SLSAC does not collect any personally identifiable financial or health-related information, nor do I intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13.
Where your information is stored
I store your information, whenever possible, on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA) (except for data that I gather when you sign up to my email newsletters).
When you sign up to my email marketing
I use Mailchimp for my email marketing.
Mailchimp has staff based outside the EEA, and stores your data in the USA. Mailchimp is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework so are qualified and GDPR compliant to receive and process your information. I do not or will not knowingly sell or share this information with any third parties. The purpose of collecting this information is solely to provide you, the subscriber, with quality content, access to videos and marketing communications.
I operate ‘double opt-in’ mailing lists so you will need to reconfirm your subscription regarding each opt-in.
I will continue to send you email newsletters and alerts until you tell me not to or use the unsubscribe option on any of my emails. You may cancel your subscription and revoke your consent to the storage or processing of this data at any time. The unsubscribe option is available in every automated communication I send.
Cookies
This website uses cookies – small text files that are placed on your machine to help the site provide a better user experience. In general, cookies are used to retain user preferences, store information for things like shopping baskets, and provide anonymised tracking data to third party applications like Google Analytics. As a rule, cookies will make your browsing experience better.

Your personal data is held on secure servers hosted in Ireland by my Internet Service Provider. The nature of the Internet is such that I cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to me via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, I have taken reasonable steps to protect your personal data.
Disclosing your information
I may pass on your personal information if I have a legal obligation to do so, or if I have to enforce or apply my terms of use and other agreements. I won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and I don’t pass on your details to other websites.

My website may contain links to other websites. These websites are not under my control and are not subject to my Privacy Policy. These websites will likely have their own privacy notices. I have no responsibility for these websites and I provide links to these websites solely for your convenience. You acknowledge that your use of and access to these websites are solely at your risk. Your rights as an individual

This Privacy Policy was last updated on 5th May 2018. Please check this website regularly for any changes that I may make to this Privacy Policy in the future. If at any time I decide to use Personal Data in a manner significantly different from that stated in this Privacy Policy, or otherwise disclosed to you at the time it was collected, I will notify you by email, and you will have a choice as to whether or not I use your information in the new manner.
